2010 European Beach Tennis Championships

Player nominations for the forthcoming European Beach Tennis Championships have been announced. The event is set to take place at the Club Ali Bey in Antalya, Turkey from September 10th - 12th, and will see a record 17 nations taking part with some familiar names in action.
Italy has dominated past editions of the tournament, winning every available title so far, and once again fields a strong squad featuring the world's top-ranked pairs Luca Meliconi & Alan Maldini and Federica Bacchetta & Giulia Spazzoli, as well as former champions Laura Olivieri & Simona Briganti.
The host nation is taking part in the event for the first time, and features WTA Tour star Ipek Senoglu amongst their line-up. The Dutch squad features multiple ITF Women's Circuit doubles title winners Chayenne Ewijk & Marlot Meddens. Nations can enter a maximum of two men's, two women's and two mixed doubles teams. France and Russia have yet to nominate their players, who will be confirmed after the conclusion of the national championships. The full list of nations confirmed for the fourth edition of the Championships is Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
