Beach Tennis has its own representative in the European Parliament

Elections to the European Parliament took place in the course of last week. The President of the Czech Association of Beach Tennis Edvard Kozusnik has been elected as an MEP for the Czech Republic and became the very first representative of this new sport in the European Parliament.
Edvard said: “I would like to thank everybody who supported me inclusive of beach tennis players from Italy, USA, Germany, Spain and other countries. In addition to my political activities I shall definitely continue to promote this new sport and I’d like to contribute to unification of Beach Tennis rules around the globe.”

Il tennis su spiaggia ha il suo rappresentante nel Parlamento Europeo.
Nella settimana scorsa, sul continente europeo si sono svolte le elezioni nel Parlamento Europeo. Il Presidente dell’Associazione Ceca del Tennis su spiaggia è stato eletto per la Repubblica Ceca quindi è diventato, nella breve storia del tennis su spiaggia, il primo rappresentante in assoluto di questo nuovo sport nel Parlamento.
Lui stesso ha commentato questo fatto: "Ringrazio a tutti coloro che mi hanno sostenuto, inclusivamente i tennisti spiaggia dall’Italia, dagli USA, Belgio, Germania e dagli altri stati. Oltre alle mie attività politiche rimarrò pure in futuro il propagatore di questo nuovo sport e vorrei contribuire all’unificazione delle regole del tennis su spiaggia in tutto il mondo "
Edvard Kožušník vive a Praga, è il fondatore del tennis su spiaggia in Repubblica Ceca, inoltre è il membro del Partito Conservativo Ceco - ODS.
Beachtennis hat seinen Vertreter im Europaparlament
In der letzten Woche fanden am europäischen Kontinent die Wahlen in das Europaparlament statt. Für die Tschechische Republik wurde der Präsident der Tschechischen Assoziation für Beachtennis Edvard Kozusnik gewählt, und so ist er in der kurzen Geschichte vom Beachtennis der erste Vertreter dieser neuen Sportart im Parlament überhaupt.
Er selbst hat dazu gesagt: "Ein Dank an alle, die mich unterstützt haben, einschließlich der Beachtennisspieler aus Italien, USA, Belgien, Deutschland und anderen Staaten. Nebst meiner politischen Aktivitäten werde ich ganz bestimmt auch weiterhin der Propagator dieses neuen Sports sein, und würde gern zur Vereinheitlichung der Beachtennis-Regeln auf der ganzen Welt beitragen."
Edvard Kožušník, lebt in Prag, ist der Gründer vom Beachtennis in der Tschechischen Republik, wo er ein Mitglied der konservativen Partei ODS ist.
